Chainstitching

One of the oldest forms of garment decoration known to man, chainstitching is an embroidery technique in which a series of looped stitches form a chain-like pattern, giving added texture and perceived movement to the pieces. Much more time consuming and labor intensive than most modern embroidery, our friends at Aimless Arrow use vintage embroidery machines, meticulously restored, to help create a unique vintage look to any garment.
